God is good!!!!

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I was cleaning out my front coat closet today and I ran across a few prayers that I had written to God. Sometime i just write my thought, prayers or desires down in a book, notepad or just a little piece of paper...Well, while i was reading the notes i found...i realized how much God has done in my life over the years. A lot of my prayers have been answered and some of the things i wanted to do back then, i have either done or i am doing now...and i am sooo glad my heart is still in the right place. I don't know what would have happened if i had given up on serving God or just given up on myseld. These blogs are really good to have, they help you to release things that you would normally keep to yourself.
There are some people that thing blogging is too personal, but i know that everything that i go through in life and mostly everything i experience is for others to learn from or just to help them in situations they may encounter or may be currently going through.
Its funny though, i dont have as much to say now that ive used paper all these years to write my thoughts...but im sure God will give me something to say. :)...well in the meantime God bless and don't allow anyone to steal your joy.!

LEARNING NEWNESS

Well what can i say....learning all about how to accept newness....REAL newness!...I'm a mother of three beautiful boys and i am soooo glad i have truly developed a relationship with God because without HIM i don't know what i would have done. I have a 19 yr old that's getting ready for college this fall, a 14 yr old getting prepared for high school and a 6 yr old on his way to 2nd grade. For some reason i almost feel like my mothering job is getting easier but yet hard to accept. I have a close bond with my children and each of them have their own way of connecting with me. But i think the hardest of the three right now is my oldest. Wow...what can i say...this child was my first born and what some would say "a miracle" child. He was born 3lbs 5oz and 16in long....this child could fit in a shoe box and could wear the clothes from KB toy story...lol. And now....he's on his way to a new life WITHOUT mommy :(...I am so very proud of him, he received a full scholarship to NAU....can somebody say THANK GOD! i know with all my hear that he is gonna make something great of himself, its just hard letting go, but know this i DO trust that God will take care of him just as HE always has.
My 14 yr old...he USED to be very quiet but little by little he is slowly coming out and developing into a fun loving young man and just in time for HIGH SCHOOL. I call this one the "ladies man" ...lol...I just KNEW this would be my shy one, BUT nope i was really wrong about that! The one thing i cant wait to do is attend his football games...well both my oldest....and SHOUT to the top of my lungs to root my boys on! YES...I AM THE LOUDEST MOMMY IN THE STANDS :) as all mothers should be!
My baby, 6 going on 66...lol. He tied his shoes today for the first time by himself....WOW...and that's a big accomplishment in my house :)...my boys focus so much on their studies they don't have time for the small stuff...."that's mommy's job" JK...two months ago i thought i would cry when he finally learned but i actually gave him a high five and a great big YOU GO BOY! I'm grateful that my children are confident enough to grow...i know so many children that tend to set themselves back do to fear. But i have learned to teach, love and push them to do all they can do...i encourage them daily and use every good affirmation i can think of to keep them motivated...I DO LOVE MY CHILDREN!
AND NOW....LAST BUT NOT LEAST...THE HEAD OF THE HOME...MY WONDERFUL HUBBY.
This man is truly Gods gift to ME! He may not do everything right or even everything i like but i know in my heart that God truly chose HIS BEST for me. He is a great provider, friend, protector and lover. He is everything i asked for and the things that have yet to develop are on their way...cause God ain't through with him yet :) Well i guess that's enough for today...God Bless and Peace be with you. :)

A PRAYER FOR THE CHILDREN!

My heart goes out to the CHILDREN of the mothers who choose the "night life", excessive clubbing, vacationing & "men hopping" date nights. The ones who leave their mothering up to the oldest kid, babysitters & grandparents. The "microwave moms"!....CHILDREN....GOD DOES LOVE YOU AND I PRAY STRENGTH, LOVE AND ENDURANCE INTO YOUR LIFE ALONG WITH A SPIRITUALLY PROSPEROUS FUTURE AND A DESIRE TO BE A TRUE PARENT TO YOUR CHILDREN...AMEN :)...OH...AND ASLO A PRAYER FOR THE MOM'S WHO HAVE BEEN FORCED TO WORK DOUBLE SHIFTS AT WORK OR TWO JOBS DUE TO THE "DEADBEAT DADS".
too many of our children are going astray due to the lack of GOOD PARENTING!...We must encourage those we know to be "street parents" that God did not bless them with these beautiful children for them to NEGLECT. i dont care if you do see them daily,,, how much TIME do to put into them...how many activities of theirs do you support? or IS IT ALL ABOUT YOU? Relationships…Learning to be a new woman

What type of relationships do you attract? What kind of relationships do you desire? What type of relationships does God want for you?

Well in order to answer these questions we must start with self. What type of wife are you? If you are not yet a wife but seeking to one day hold this title, what type of woman are you? And remember women the word says in Proverbs 18:22 that who so finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord.

Let's start with presentation since most of the time this it what naturally attracts the opposite sex.
How do you present yourself in public? When you pick out your clothes what type of clothing do you pick? Is your makeup soft & natural, bright & glamorous or none at all? Is your hair big, wild & full of style, neatly kept and tamed or untouched, drab and dull?
Okay now that we're all in the mirror checking ourselves out let's see what God says about how we should present ourselves.
1 Timothy 2:9 NCV Also, women should wear proper clothes that show respect and self-control, not using braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes. Instead, they should do good deeds, which is right for women who say they worship God.

Okay, this is NOT saying that we can't braid our hair, wear gold or expensive clothes. What this IS saying is that those things should NOT be what defines us. Sometimes as women, we put so much emphasis on our outer beauty that we end up drawing negative or unnecessary attention to ourselves. The way this is done is by choosing to wear clothing that is too tight, too short and way too revealing. The makeup we choose is too loud, and sometimes just too much, yes colors are okay but come on....NOT EVERY COLOR OF THE RAINBOW, ALL AT ONCE. There are some (now don't get me wrong) but they have more than one ring on each finger and one on each toe. The nails look like claws and who would want to eat behind the cook that's attached to them. Now I wear a weave and I have absolutely nothing against them BUT there is a way to wear one. I have seen colors out of this world. Face it women.....lately the women today have done so much to themselves that you wouldn't recognize them after being unmasked. Now how do you think a man....a "man of God" would look at this WOMAN?
Well, some of them are just putting up with it and doing their own thing. AND this is what we want to avoid.
The Bible tells a man that the husband should love his wife as Christ loves the church true enough but we have a responsibility too.

A. Proper clothes that show respect and self control...Cover up ladies, that body God blessed you with is NOT for all to see. This is something to be shared with your husband, in the privacy of your bedroom. (for those who aren't married) Save yourself for the one God is preparing for you. Practice now so that he will notice you as being his and not EVERYBODY'S woman. You may have passed by your husband plenty of times but couldn't catch his attention due to the fact that "HE COULDN'T RECOGNIZE YOU".
B. Braided hair, jewelry & expensive things: Everything you put on, clothes, hair, jewelry etc. doesn't have to SPEAK. If the items speak let them speak with a soft meek voice.

How do you want to be approached?
a. Hey Baby, What's Crackin?
b. Can I hit that?
c. or just a kind Hello, how are you...you really look nice today?
Well, check yourself and ask the question...How do I present myself?
We are trying too hard to keep up with whats going on in the world. All the different styles and fads. Look all of it isn't bad but we make it bad by putting more into IT than what we put into things of true importance.
The second part of 1 Timothy 2:9 is telling us that our good deeds are what should be the main attraction. What kind of person are you? Does your outer beauty match your inner beauty or does it out weight it? Are you kind, loving and easy to get along with? or are you...Loud, obnoxious and a bomb ready to explode?

Okay ladies I know this was a mouth full and there is plenty more we can learn about being a Good Godly Wife/Woman. What I'm looking for are question's, concerns or input on this subject, and I will do all I can using God's help to get us all going in the right direction. If you notice I used us.....I"m far from being perfect but my desire is to live up to my true potential of what I am supposed to be and NOT what the world or anyone else expects me to be.
God loves us so much that He decided to give us clear instructions on how to care for all His beautiful creations.

A Woman’s Strength in Christ

How do you find it and maintain it? Well the answer is this, you can find your strength in Christ and you maintain it by holding on to the Word of Christ.

First in order to find your strength in Christ we must get to know Christ himself. After we do this we will begin to develop a relationship with Him, learning his ways and his expectations for us. Once God see's that we have an understanding we will begin to experience some things. Some good...and some...not so good. We will and must be tested and tried. God allows us to be tested daily, which means that we gain some amount of strength on a regular basis.
In the mist of our trials Proverbs 73:26 encourages us that: My body and my mind may become weak, but God is my strength. He is mine forever....Wow, how about that, not just for THAT TIME but FOREVER

For EXAMPLE: You may be in a relationship (friendship, marriage, church etc.) no matter what kind of relationship it is they all come with some sort of disagreements from time to time. Let's say you are the more spiritually mature of the two and you're dealing with a person who has VERY selfish ways. This person is constantly being treated with respect, love and kindness from everyone they come in contact with. BUT, for whatever reason this person is always very dry, unresponsive and cold-hearted...but only to YOU. Everyone that comes around the both of you never see's the ugly in this person and always compliments them as if they are so kind and loving...and you're looking as if these people are crazy or something. You may even wait on this person hand and foot and this person won't even lift a finger for you. Well...if this sounds familiar, how do you think you would handle this situation. I can only tell you how I handled it (with God's help). I handled it with love...No matter what this person did I tried very hard to follow God's word...If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men Romans 12:18. Yes, I know you're saying, "what, I know you didn't, Ms. Holier than Thou"...But I tell you...God MUST have put this type of spirit in me long ago, or I was just too afraid to get ugly with this particular person. Now don't get me wrong.....I didn't act in love because I wanted to, Oh, no! It was truly God and HIs Sweet Holy Spirit that spoke to my heart every time I wanted to lash out. There were times when this person wanted me to do something for them and I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO DO IT! My total intention was to say NO, with a loud voice, rolling my eyes and have an attitude out of this world, BUT God!...The Holy Spirit would speak to my heart in the mist of my anger, hurt and pain and say to me..."yes, you will be sweet, you will be kind and God will reward you". He would say, "I am working on their behavior by how you behave". God also allowed me to go to a class where the Pastor was teaching about Demonic Spirits and their behavior's and how to deal with them, this was a big help for me...and in time, this worked...this person still has some of their old ways but I truly see a big change in them, and now when this person is ugly I use what I've learned from the Word to deal with them. I have learned that the Lord is truly the source of my strength but only if I adhere to His word being obedient to the Holy Spirit. Okay I must admit....there have been times where God did allow me to let out some of my frustrations and things did get ugly......BUT I believe He was showing me how things can really be prolonged when we act out using our own judgment as to how WE think things should be handled.

In order to understand the road God is taking us down. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to...Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path.
Well, with all that is going on around us today, there are many distractions that can easily get us to focus our attention on the problem at hand. This is why we end up in situations where our weakness out ways our strength. As women we get so caught up in our daily duties that we no longer have the time to search the scriptures to get to know our creator and why we were created. This is one of the ways the enemy uses as his way of distraction. We get so tired and burnt out trying to do everything instead of getting instruction from God on what He wants us to do.

Well, here's a little help... For those who work: If you are an "ON TIME" person try a little prayer before going into work. Try taking your bible to work and use breaks & lunch for reading and a few moments before pulling off from work for prayer.
For those who don't work and are stay at home moms...(Bless You :)..) after everyone leaves the first thing you do is go to God in prayer and allow Him to lead you the rest of the way. Believe me anytime you truly put God first and you make time to communicate with Him, it gives Him a door to come through and guide you. But if you never give Him time what do you expect from Him? Now, if you are doing these things now DON'T STOP! Keep pushing, help is on the way.

2 Timothy 2:15 tells us to: Study to show thyself approved a workman needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of God. If we study daily we will be able to "RIGHTLY" divide the word of God and PROPERLY apply it to our lives.
A good idea would be to go through the Bible and search out all of the women studying about their similarity's, differences, strengths and weaknesses. In doing this we will begin to learn a lot about ourselves and what God expects from us as a women of God, wives, mothers and friends. This could take the place of us worrying about what the men should be doing...it's not our place to fix them, train them or control them this job is for the one who created them...God.
We tell our children that people will help those who help themselves, so let's use our own advice.

Women I encourage you to add to this. We as women need to hear from those who have... "been there, done that, now moving on to the next challenge".
